This is my mom's friend, Dale “Tex” Westmoreland. You could have pulled him out of the 1800's, he’s cowboy through and through. He lives by the cowboy code…….

Live each day with honesty and courage.

Take pride in your work. Always do your best

Stay curious. Study hard and learn all you can.

Do what has to be done and finish what you start.

Be tough, but fair.

When you make a promise, keep it.

Be clean in thought, word, deed and dress.

Practice tolerance and understanding of others.

Be willing to stand up for what’s right.

Be an excellent steward of the land and its animals.

If you know nothing about him but that, you know him. He is married with 2 children. He has the heart of gold but unfortunately, that heart is damaged. He is in need of a heart transplant. The doctors have tried everything that they can to help him but, his heart is dying. He has been in and out of the hospital for a month now. He's on 8 different medications to make him as comfortable as they can.

He is Manager and head Wrangler at a guest ranch in Yucca Arizona. As hard as others try to make him slow down, he does his best to fulfill his obligations to the ranch, the guests and the horses. It’s those horses that get him out of bed every day. He may not be able to “ride like the wind” anymore, do the heavy lifting but he makes sure it gets done.

Please help her friend. He would never ask himself. His insurance company has denied him the transplant, apparently money is more important than saving a good man’s life. They won’t even put him on the list. He is only 43 years old. But if you hear his stories, he’s lived a lifetime.

Anything that you could do would be appreciated.  Check out her Go Fund Me campaign by following the link below.  Thank you.

This weekend we lost a great friend and bike builder by the name of Larry Pierce owner of Garage Company Customs. To know him was to love him. He was a genuine, hilarious and easy going human being and there are no words to express the sadness from such a tragic loss.  For those who are interested and in the neighborhood we are getting together to celebrate his life (see flyer below for details)

Lowbrow Customs is also helping out his family in a big way by donating 100% of the sale proceeds of Garage Company Custom tee shirts (see flyer below for more details and follow their link for their site)

Check out his Born Free video and you will see for yourself what a great guy he was.  Also, check out Chop Cult's great feature on Larry and his work: Ride On

FEATURED ARTIST - Progressive Int'l Moto Show 2013

I've been busy lately thanks to the wonderful people at Progressive.  I was recently asked to be a featured artist at the Progressive International Motorcycle Show in San Mateo, CA.  I had a real blast and met a lot of cool people.  The show is travelling all around the country so check out their website to see if they will be coming to a city near you.

The best part was that they gave me free reign to paint four tanks for the show and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out.

The time has finally come...it has been a great bike and I hate to sell, but I am working on new builds and it's time to move on.  It needs a good caring home and I hope that the new owner loves the look enough to just leave it as is, with some TLC maybe and that's about it...if you or someone you know is interested check out my craigslist ad or hit me up!
